The total orphan population in Africa, alone is in excess of 77 million. Additional reports estimate that Russia and Romania each currently have a population of at least 100,000 orphans - and these numbers are undoubtedly only the tip of the iceberg.

Clearly, something must be done to ease the sickness, fear, hunger, and hurting of the world’s countless forgotten children.  That's where Muslim Education Relief, adopts an Orphan program.
